THK Home for Disabled @ Eunos
Thye Hua Kwan (THK) Moral Society established the THK Home for Disabled @ Eunos (formerly known as Moral Home for Disabled) on 1 June 1989 to provide residential care for 22 children with intellectual disabilities when the Government divested its 6 children’s homes.
Our mission is to give warmth, care and love to our residents. We provide a comprehensive education, including the moral and civic aspects of life, and create a conducive environment for them to live in harmony, while respecting each other’s race, colour, culture, language and religion.
With its barrier-free access facilities, THK Home for The Disabled @ Eunos is able to introduce new initiatives and innovative programmes for all residents in the areas of training and developmental growth, social recreational activities, as well as employment or career opportunities. Our young residents undergo the new Hostel Services programme, where they are trained for employment. Our aim is to develop residents and to assist them in finding sustained employment in the community and receive a regular income.
