THK Seniors Activity Centre @ Telok Blangah Crescent

Motto : To Serve Mankind

To establish a local network of support and an active volunteer movement to promote self worth and sense of community belonging among residents.

Our Centre

THK Seniors Activity Centre @ Telok Blangah Crescent was established by Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society and commenced service since December 1994. The Centre was officially opened by Mr Abdullah Tarmugi, Minister for Community Development on 14 July 1996. It was then expanded to include another premise at Block 3 to serve a bigger area of residents, regardless of their race and religion.

Our Objectives

  • To promote volunteerism in the community, so that the elderly residents and other residents will remain active and engaged.
  • To promote inter-generational interaction among residents in the neighbourhood.
  • To assist the vulnerable residents in obtaining appropriate services to meet their needs.
  • To mobilise community resources in building a local support network for the needy residents.

Programmes and Services

  • This SAC values, respects and warmly welcomes all elderly living in our community. Motivate our seniors to actively participate in our indoor and outdoor activities.

  • To show and highlight to our elderly the benefits and advantages of living in harmony with neighbours, friends and family.
