Ong Kam Chow joined the company in September 2011 at the time when THKMS was restructuring its nine Institutions of Public Character (IPC) and five Seniors Activity Centres (SAC) and injecting the assets and liabilities of these IPCs and SACs into the company.
He is well aware of the financial origin and the progress of the company, having been with the company before its incorporation to oversee the financial restructuring and witnessing its growth since then.
After graduating in 1978 from the then University of Singapore with a Degree in Bachelor of Accountancy, he worked in a regional sales and distribution headquarters of a multinational precision measuring manufacturer for over 30 years before retiring and then re-joining the workforce.
He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (ISCA).
