Bukit Panjang Cares Virtual Volunteer Roadshow 2021

Bukit Panjang Cares (BP Cares) led by THK Family Service Centre @ Bukit Panjang is part of the Singapore Cares (SG Cares)movement. In its first ever 2-day Virtual Volunteer Roadshow (20 & 22 February 2021), 8 partnering organisations shared their volunteering opportunities to more than 200 potential volunteers who are keen to give back to the community.
During the opening on 20 February 2021, the virtual event was graced by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Adviser to Cashew Grassroots Organisations (GROs) Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Adviser to Bukit Panjang GROs Mr Liang Eng Hwa, Deputy Secretary (Special Duties) of Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) Dr Ang Hak Seng, and THKMC COO Mr Jason Lee.
Thank you to all partners (Adventist Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Bo Tien Welfare Services Society, Bukit Panjang Community Club, Cashew Community, Covenant Evangelical Free Church, New Life Community Services, NKF Singapore, Pacific Activity Centre and Cashew Community) and residents who participated in the BP Cares Virtual Volunteer Roadshow in building a closer Bukit Panjang town!
