On 26th September 2014, Singapore Association of Women Lawyers partnered with THK FSC @ Jurong to launch Legal Awareness Programme (LEAP) and “Teens & the Law” (Second Edition), which is a joint collaboration with SAWL and NUS Pro Bono Club students. Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Mr Lawrence Wong graced the launch, handing out Certificates of Appreciation to the youths who actively took part in this community event.
Interactive games, dance performances and skits were also performed to raise awareness of legal issues among teens, such as drug abuse or bullying cases.
