As part of #SGUnited, THK Aviators gave back to the community through helping out with the Temporary Relief Fund applications and distribution of reusable masks at the various residents’ committee (RC) centres in Ci Yuan CC, Teck Ghee CC and Cheng San CC.
The Temporary Relief Fund is set up for families who need help urgently or who have been affected by the COVID-19 situation. This service is available at Social Service Offices and Community Centres across Singapore.
By helping out with registration, temperature taking and managing the crowd, THK Aviators were a great help. With more hands on deck, the processing of applications was carried out efficiently, which reduced crowding.
On 10 April 2020, THKMC CEO Mr Lum Hon Fye made a surprise visit to Teck Ghee CC, where he personally thanked THK Aviators. His words of encouragement definitely made their day!
