THK Active Ageing Centres

THK Active Ageing Centres (AACs) extend support to seniors living nearby in the community. The centres provide a platform for seniors to engage in recreational activities and create opportunities for them to build strong social bonds. Our centres also offer vulnerable and homebound elderly additional support services such as befriending, emergency alert response calls, and referral for eldercare-related issues.

  1. THK AAC @ Ang Mo Kio 208

    Our Centre

    THK Active Ageing Centre @ AMK 208 is a joint project of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Housing and Development Board (HDB), and Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities.  It aims to improve the quality of life of elderly residents living in HDB one and two-room rental flats.

    Our Mission

    To integrate low income elderly (aged 60 years and above) into mainstream community living, with the support and active participation of the wider community.

    Our Objectives

    1. To improve the living conditions of the low income elderly
    2. To prevent social isolation of low income and vulnerable elderly residing in the identified HDB rental flats
    3. To provide support and services by facilitating and co-ordinating community-based resources
    4. To mobilise community resources, including volunteers to build a local support network for the needy residents

    Our Centre

    THK Active Ageing Centre @ AMK 257 is a joint project of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Housing and Development Board (HDB), and Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities.  It aims to improve the quality of life of elderly residents living in HDB one and two-room rental flats.

    THK AAC @ AMK 257 is THKMC’s very first AAC to incorporate a therapy clinic. Physio and Occupational therapists will be stationed at this centre to provide therapy programmes, assessments and consultations to elderly residents residing in the vicinity.

    THK Active Ageing Centre @ Telok Blangah Crescent is a joint project of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Housing and Development Board (HDB), and Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities.  It aims to improve the quality of life of elderly residents living in HDB one and two-room rental flats.

    Our Mission
