DISABILITY SERVICES

THK

Pan-Disability Centre (PDC) @ Eunos

THK Pan-Disability Centre (PDC) @ Eunos was established in 2005, with the objective to enable every Persons with Disabilities in Singapore to find gainful employment and seamlessly integrate into our local workforce. We harness our trainees’ abilities and build their confidence and independence through pre-vocational training and employment placements, eventually empowering individuals to enhance their self-worth and achieve independence.

Core Programmes

Media

THK PDC @ Eunos offers five core programme tracks: Baking, Urban Farming, Hospitality, E-commerce Business (PDC Slimery), and Backend Assembly. In addition to our vocational programmes, we also provide pre-vocational training within our centres to further develop the functional skills of our trainees.  THK PDC @ Eunos also offers Goodlife Holistic complementary programme to enhance the physical health of our trainees.

Knead with Love Bakery

Knead with Love Bakery, part of our Supported Employment environment, trains individuals in mass bread bun production supplied to our three THK Disability Homes. Trainees who show exceptional progress and work readiness will be considered for open employment with our suite of partner bakeries and cafes, while being supported by our Employment Team. Our Knead with Love Bakery is both SFA licensed and halal certified.

Urban Farming

Our Urban Farming programme, initiated in September 2022 in line with the government’s ’30 by 30′ initiative, focuses on indoor hydroponics. Our trainees cultivate and harvest microgreens, vegetables including kale and bok choy, and herbs like rosemary and mint; from germinating to harvesting and distribution packing.

All our in-house produces are available on Shopify.

Goodlife Holistic Programme

Under our Goodlife Holistic programme, trainees get to participate in HIIT Tuesdays and Soccer Wednesdays. Elevate Gym hosts HIIT Tuesdays, guiding groups of 10 trainees through adapted crossfit workouts. Soccer Wednesdays are hosted by English Football School where coaches voluntarily organise soccer trainings for our trainees. We believe that aside from being vocationally trained at THK PDC, our trainees should also be exposed to healthy play.  These sessions promote healthy play and instill valuable life skills, such as communications and teamwork, essential for developing independence.
