Groupwork & Programmes
THK Family Connectors, a community development initiative, brings together families from the Family Service Centre for diverse activities. Open to both service users and residents, the workshops focus on parenting, financial planning, employment, and family relationships. Adopted by all THK Family Service Centres in 2018, the programme strives to foster interaction among diverse families, creating a supportive community.

Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P)
Parents of children aged 11-16 facing challenges in managing behaviours and emotions explore positive approaches to meaningful interactions. Through this programme, parents will explore the possible approaches to positive and meaningful interactions with their child.
Signposts
Signposts is an evidence-based group programme designed to help parents comprehend and manage their child’s behaviour. It equips parents with valuable tools to navigate and nurture their child’s development effectively.
Our Keluarga (OK)
Our Keluarga (OK), established in 2015, is a community-based group work programme providing support to families affected by incarceration due to drug-related offences. Through group work, community engagement, and casework, the programme aims to break the cycle of intergenerational drug use by fostering a sense of community through targeted group activities. Community mentors, former participants, guide families on the path to recovery, imparting problem-solving skills and improving family relationships, forging a new chapter in their lives.
Brotherhood
The Brotherhood Family Violence Support Group, launched in 2019, is a pilot programme for men who experience aggression within their families. Participants gain insights, take ownership of their violent behaviours, and work towards regulating emotions and repairing damaged relationships. The programme encourages positive behavioural changes through supportive group interactions and knowledge obtained from this programme.

SIMCharge
SIMCharge empowers female single parents through group sharing sessions, fostering support and learning to cope with potential stressors. The programme helps participants to strengthen their social and emotional well-being, and learn from one another to cope with their possible stressful circumstances through the challenges and triumphs.

Our Kampung promotes cultural positivity within transnational families, providing a platform for sharing and learning among friends with similar family backgrounds, fostering a supportive kampung spirit.

Familyhood
Familyhood is an Integrated Domestic Violence Programme (IDVP) dedicated to healing, awareness, and resilience. Through a holistic approach, we empower individuals and families to break free from the cycle of violence and build a future of safety, strength, and hope. Familyhood offers dedicated groupwork for men, women, and children, providing a safe and supportive space for healing and personal growth.
Brotherhood
Started in September 2019, Brotherhood is a Man Support and Treatment Group designed specifically to partner with men who have caused harm, to be part of the solution in ending the cycle of violence and preventing gender-based violence.
Womanhood
Womanhood is designed to empower females who experienced harm in domestic violence by supporting them in building confidence and making informed decisions to regain control over their lives. It creates a safe space for affected individuals to build emotional stability and develop coping mechanisms to help them heal.
Childhood
Childhood is designed to provide children affected by domestic violence with positive opportunities to gain awareness and knowledge about adaptive coping mechanisms and apply them. Play-based therapeutic modalities are used to provide developmentally appropriate and trauma-informed intervention for children.
