DISABILITY SERVICES
THK
HomesTHK Homes cater to individuals with intellectual disabilities, addressing various needs and circumstances.
Since its inception in 1989, THK Home @ Eunos has evolved from providing residential care for children with intellectual disabilities to offering long-term residential care for adults. The expansion includes individuals with high levels of community skills who do not require institutional care.
THK Home @ Chai Chee, established in 1997, focuses on long-term residential care, emphasising support for older adults with limited caregiver assistance and those from low-income families.
THK Home @ Sembawang, started operations in April 2018, extends its services to adults aged 17 to 55 diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other co-morbidities. Additionally, it provides short-term respite care services and crisis placements for those classified under the Vulnerable Adults category by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF).
THK Home @ Jurong East provides residential care services for persons with intellectual disabilities. Aligned with our commitment to delivering person-centred care, the home offers a safe and nurturing environment that promotes dignity, well-being, and meaningful engagement for all residents.

FAQ
THKMC has four ADHs. Enrolment is through referrals from SG Enable and subject to assessment and eligibility. For more information on the application process and eligibility criteria, please visit the SG Enable website.
The fees may vary according to the programmes that the applicant is enrolled in. All government-funded programmes, including ADHs, have subsidy schemes in place to help families defray the cost of programme fees. National means-testing will be conducted to determine the amount of subsidies to be provided.
SG Enable will provide information on the estimated wait time for enrolment upon assessing and submitting the referral to the ADH.
Respite care services are for PwDs whose caregivers are unable to care for them for a short period. All three Homes provide short-term respite care services and crisis placements classified under MSF Vulnerable Adults category.
