Children's Therapy SpacesThrough THK Therapy Services, our AHPC-certified therapists at THK Children’s Therapy Spaces extend centre-based and school-based Speech Language, Occupational and Physiotherapy to children with developmental delays and disorders, socio-emotional and learning difficulties through individual and group work.
To ensure that no child and family are left behind, our team of highly experienced and passionate paediatric therapists specialising in neurological rehabilitation and rare diseases provide home therapy and family empowerment for children with complex medical needs.

Speech Language Therapy

Our Speech Language Therapists assess, diagnose, and treat difficulties in the following areas:
- Language understanding and expression (eg. following instructions, telling stories, explaining thoughts and feelings)
- Speech production (eg. unclear pronunciation) Voice use (eg. hoarse voice from excessive shouting)
- Stuttering (also known as stammering) Feeding and swallowing (eg. picky eaters, chewing delay, dysphagia)
- Social skills (eg. how to make friends, how to take part in group activities)
- Literacy skills (eg. phonological skills, reading fluency, reading comprehension)
Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists support children with a range of difficulties to participate fully in school and social situations. Some of the situations include:
- Self-help skills (eg. toileting, eating, drinking, getting dressed, taking a shower, brushing teeth)
- Play skills
- Social skills
- Writing
- Self-regulation
- Emotional regulation
- Sensory system
- Postural motor control
Physiotherapy

Our Physiotherapists work with children with neurological, orthopaedic, and developmental disorders, focusing on promoting their gross motor development. The therapists also collaborate with the family to address the specific needs of the child. Some of the conditions the therapists work with include:
- Gross Motor Delay Global Developmental Delay
- Congenital Orthopaedic conditions (eg. torticollis, clubfoot)
- Cerebral Palsy
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury
- Genetic conditions (eg. Down Syndrome)

Speech Language Therapy Student Clinic

Our Speech Language Therapy Student Clinic at THK Children’s Therapy Spaces is the first-of-its-kind in Singapore offering assessment and therapy for toddlers, preschoolers and youths under 18 years old. The Student Clinic services are led by student therapists under the supervision of a team of AHPC-certified and experienced Clinical Educators, who guide and assess the student therapists, and overseeing client progress and the interventions they receive.
Children attending the Student Clinic receive the same high standard of care as they would from a fully qualified Speech Language Therapist, while enjoying reduced fees.
We work with children and youth with the following learning needs:

Standard Individual Therapy sessions run for 45 minutes, while Extended Individual Therapy sessions run for 60 minutes
THK Children's Therapy Space provides assessment and therapy to children aged between 0 to 18 years old, i.e. infancy to adolescence. For older individuals in the young adult age range, please email us your concerns so that we can direct you to the right programme or service.
Yes. THK Children's Therapy Spaces accept island-wide referrals.
For centre-based services by non-senior therapists, an assessment session ranges from $163 to $262 while a therapy session ranges from $131 to $164.
For centre-based services by senior therapists, an assessment session ranges from $196 to $327 while a therapy session ranges from $152 to $240.
All fees quoted above include 9% GST.
For Student Clinic services led by student therapists, the fees are highly subsidised. Please note that the Student Clinic is a training clinic for student therapists, hence your child will be assessed to ensure the Student Clinic benefits both your child's and the student therapists' learning. We recommend our regular/senior clinics if the needs of your child and family are found to be better supported by our team of certified therapists.

Speech and Language Therapy (SLT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physiotherapy (PT) are available at our spaces. Our therapists are experienced in working with children with a range of developmental delays and disorders.
The waiting period varies based on whether you prefer a morning or afternoon slot. Generally, afternoon sessions have a longer wait time, approximately three months. Opting for morning sessions for your child could result in a shorter waiting time.
